View from the garden at The Old Rectory Meet & Greet Chauffer/Taxi service from UK Airports We strongly recommend your own car for getting around during your stay at The Old Rectory North, but you may prefer the added luxury of being driven here and collecting a hire car locally, once you’ve settled in. Our local chauffer/taxi service is with Avon Taxis (owner Nick Dimarco) someone we have used personally for many years for our holiday trips via Heathrow, Gatwick and Birmingham. Nick offers a 24x7 service and can collect up to 6 persons with luggage anywhere in the UK. He can also drop you off at the local car hire centres and/or take you onward to your next destination. If you were hiring a car locally at Cheltenham or Tewkesbury and wanted to pick it up on the way to us he would divert there for no extra charge. If you want to pick up a hire car elsewhere or next day perhaps Nick could collect you from The Old Rectory as a separate journey. Nick will meet you in the airport arrivals hall at the terminal holding a board with the name of your party.
